"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

I hope everyone has had a blessed Easter! Today is the day that Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into heaven! He is the reason for the season! He died so that we may have eternal life, and know the magnificent treasure that is heaven and God! I thank you Jesus for everything you have done for me, and I am sorry for all the things that I have done against your will! This is a time for new beginnings, and new life, so I hope I can transform myself into something that makes you proud! I love you and I thanks you!

so this happened yesterday, and I couldn’t have been more surprised! I was basically making the tweet to kill two birds with one stone! I was being informative to my friends and then tweeting him happy birthday! After a year and a half of non stop tweeting all of them, the one person I never thought I would get a response from tweeted me back. So thank you Mr. Quiseng for making my night and somewhat caring about my social life!
This doesn’t go with the things that I usually post, but I felt like posting it! I got to meet my favorite band Allstar Weekend for the first time ever in New Orleans almost a month ago with my best friends! It was a night that I will never forget!
Side note: It really amazes me how different people of different backgrounds can come together and listen to music. I think that music really is the universal language and a true blessing from God. I know that my life would not be as enjoyable without music, and so I am always thankful for it!

Jeremiah 29:11
Trust in God’s plans for you!

Sirach 24:18
This passage has to do with wisdom, actually, but I thought it could reference God as well!
“The Lord calls you back, like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit. A wife married in youth and then cast off, says your God. For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with great tenderness I will take you back. In an outburst of wrath, for a moment I hid my face from you; but with enduring love I take pity on you, says the LORD, your redeemer. This is for me like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah should never again deluge the earth; So I have sworn not to be angry with you or rebuke you. Though the mountains leave their place and the hills be shaken,My love shall never leave you nor my covenant of peace be shaken, says the LORD, who has mercy on you. Oh afflicted one, storm-battered and unconsoled, I lay your pavements in carnelians, and you foundations in sapphires; I will make your battlements of rubies, your gates of carbuncles, and all your walls of precious stones. All your sons shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children.” Isaiah 54: 6-13
I was reflecting, talking to God, and I was talking about how badly I wanted my faith to be stronger with Him. I talked for a couple of minutes about how sad I was about not being as close to Him as I used to be. I then told God that I wanted to name one of my sons after Him. I don’t know where it even came from, it just sort of came out. I then decided to do what I always love to do, which is open my Bible to a random page, and read the first thing I see. Well, the passage above is what I found. I cried when I read it. Every time I read it I cry. It’s just so crazy how God works sometimes.
